Celebrating Medical Excellence: Professor William Hwang

In a heartwarming display of medical excellence, Singapore’s healthcare sector is celebrating the remarkable achievements of six senior clinicians and one care team.

Alongside Professor Tan Huay Cheem, the outstanding clinician award also went to UCLA-NUS EMBA Alumnus, Professor William Hwang, chief executive of the National Cancer Centre Singapore and a senior consultant at Singapore General Hospital’s (SGH) Haematology Department. This award was for his sterling contributions in helping to advance haemato-oncology and stem cell transplantation, steering the centre to new heights in clinical service and research excellence, and his dedication to serving his patients.

The work of these remarkable people serves as an inspiration for healthcare professionals worldwide who are dedicated to improving the well-being of patients, advancing healthcare and driving research and education. Heartiest congratulations!
